Can you feel it? That anticipation in the air of something big coming? You may be feeling excited or perhaps apprehensive, honour and accept whatever it is you’re feeling whilst we take a peek into what is happening astrologically and how we can use that information practically in our lives.

This alignment is part of the ongoing paradigm shift we are seeing at this time where the old structures of patriarchy, conformity, outward seeking security is dying and new structures based on a more feminine, intuitive, caring and internal security is starting to emerge. This shift is happening to us all individually and collectively. The Eclipses are here to really bring the changes that have started occurring into the light of day, not in a way that is glaringly obvious as yet, but the seed almost ready to sprout to be nurtured into being.

Neptune here is helping us to dissolve old structures and consciously connect to our inner source to see our own divinity and what nurtures us spiritually. Having recently gone retrograde, Neptune will have us going over old ground, old habits, old addictions and beliefs to assist us with bringing to a close all that no longer serves our higher self to make room for the new to come. It is like a final assessment to see what aligns and what doesn’t.

Assisting with the dissolution and emergence of new beliefs and ways, Jupiter here continues to help us recognise what beliefs are no longer working with the intention to construct new, expanded beliefs that better align with the new consciousness paradigm we are moving into.

This alignment may make it difficult for us to clearly see what those new beliefs are as yet, or how to bring them into being, however just being aware of the necessity for change and taking steps towards that will help eventually reveal what this is. Keep returning to your inner self when unsure or confused, stay grounded and trust in what arises.

These aspects will potentially trigger and exacerbate the wounding we hold related to our identity, particularly at this time of immense change. Use these triggers as opportunities to dig deep within yourself, express what you find either to a counsellor or the like, or write it out. Journaling is a fantastic way of working through what is going on in the depths of our psyche. What is revealed will assist us in determining what we really, truly desire to change and what we want to bring into being into the new consciousness paradigm.
So this July New Moon Eclipse in Cancer we are encouraged to go home to inner selves, look at what wants changing, visualise how you want your life to look in the future and set intentions to help build a foundation for this to come to pass in the near future.
